Emerald
I let out a sigh. That girl was as good with guilt trips as her mother. Emerald really is a sweet girl, but I could read between the lines. She was pissed that I wasn’t at her party, yet I could make time to go to Bridgeport Hills to see Steel and his family. It was sort of a no-brainer. Steel lives thousands of miles away and I see him once every couple of years. Emerald lives 10 miles away and I see her much more often, although perhaps not as often as I should. I’ve seen a lot of these posted so I thought I might as well add mine…Thanks for an amazing year! I’m so thankful for all of my readers. I appreciate you spending some of your free time with the Watsons! I know I’m not the most regular with my posting. Thanks so much for sticking around when sometimes it’s months between updates. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get into a rhythm with posting as things get moving with Pearl as a young adult!
