Chapter 3.12, Part Two–Happily Ever After

I sat up straight in my chair when I heard the door to the physician’s lounge open. I quickly brushed the tears from my cheeks, in a fruitless effort to destroy the evidence of the breakdown I was in the middle of. Chapter 3.12, Part One–Casual

I couldn’t stop staring at her. Surely, something so beautiful hadn’t come from me? My life had taken so many ugly turns, it was hard to believe that the path twisted with brambles and thorns had this treasure at the end of it. Read the rest of this page »

Chapter 3.11 – Promises

I nervously wiped my sweaty palms on a towel that was setting on the vanity. I couldn’t hear anything but the sound of my heart pounding in my head. I anxiously looked at the clock.

Chapter 3.10 – Unwedded Bliss

Hey, Sis, I missed you at my birthday party, but I totally understand that med school is completely bogging you down. 2011 in review

I’ve seen a lot of these posted so I thought I might as well add mine…Thanks for an amazing year!  I’m so thankful for all of my readers.  I appreciate you spending some of your free time with the Watsons!  I know I’m not the most regular with my posting.  Thanks so much for sticking around when sometimes it’s months between updates.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to get into a rhythm with posting as things get moving with Pearl as a young adult!

By the way, 2012 is off to a great start as the record view count per day of 116 was broken on January 1st and now stands at 133!!

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,800 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.
